Energy Certificate
Among our services is the issuance of an Energy Certificate or, as it is often called, an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). The served area is all over Athens and the surrounding areas. The mechanical engineer who signs the certificate is an approved Energy Building Inspector from the Ministry of Environment & Energy.
The issuance of the energy certificate is necessary for the sale or lease of any property, regardless of the area. It is also mandatory to issue an energy certificate in case you join the Home Savings program, regardless of the size of the building.
For the issuance of the energy certificate (E.E.A.), an inspection visit must be made to the property, in order to obtain all the necessary information.
Necessary supporting documents for the issuance of an Energy Certificate are the following:
Site plan from copies of architectural plans.
Property Title (Property contract or E9 or parental benefit etc.)
Number of Land Register Declaration Protocol or KAEK
Building Permit Number for homes built after 1/3/1983
Thermal Insulation Study (for buildings constructed after 1980 – if available, the first ten pages of the study are required)
Issuance of an electronic receipt by the taxisnet service with code 8012 worth €5 with the codes of the property owner.
After the Energy Certificate of your building is issued, it will classify it in one of the energy categories determined by the Ministry of Energy, while at the same time it will also include the inspector’s recommendations (non-binding) for the energy upgrade of the building, with the ultimate goal is to save energy.
To issue an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), do not hesitate to call us. The energy inspector will perform an autopsy on your property and after the necessary measurements will issue the energy certificate immediately within 1-3 working days.
